hello - any updates on this? I’m having the exact same issues after a recent sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade on my 2013 F150. I’ve done some research and the common denominator seems to be the APIMs that are “Gen4” which were manufactured after June 2018.Remove speaker cover and unscrew two screws. Remove two screws for cover and pull off. Remove Harnesses. Everything exposed. Remove old GPS module and stick new GPS module to the top of it with double sided 3M tape. Clip unit back in orig location.
