7800x3d curve optimizer
I haven't done any tweaking to my 7800x3d yet, so I was looking at curve optimizer and PBO. In the BIOS, the PBO has levels 1-5 for different ratings 70-90.I recently bought a ryzen 7800x3d with a Gigabyte Gaming X AX mobo. Since benchmark results are quite low wrt to the average results I see online, together with core clock, I tried some undervolt with Curve Optimizer. I got some nice results with a -30 allcore CO. Trying to further optimize, I went with the per-core CO.

Ryzen master won't show curve optimizer. B620s can only use XMP/EXPO and does not have access to other OC settings. Yes, PBO is considered overclocking. I wouldn't start right now with a per core curve optimizer, go with a all core soft curve optimizer, start with -5; -10 or -15 all core and check stability, voltages, performance and temperatures. Imo, a few hours is nowhere near enough to properly test Curve Optimizer settings. To test CO properly, you must do it single threaded.Default TDP of R9 7950x is 170W. Auto CO makes it producing much more. Been using bios for tuning everything. Currently running -500 pbo offset, 85c thermal limit, -32 -31 curve optimizer all cores all but one core on a 7950x with an sff cooler.
