The slag one, whatever the prefix, is something to be avoided. It is a waste of a Sandhawk. Shock is neutral, and takes down Pyro Pete's shields very nicely. I would say that Flying is better, because it speeds up the projectiles, and leaves the enemy less time to avoid them.The Sandhawk is a pretty good SMG. OP8 Dmg ranges around 175.000 and fires 8 bullets at the cost of 1 ammo. It reloads pretty fast (2.4) and it can be obtained with all elements. Downside: Slow firerate and the projectiles are extremely slow. So you will be unable to hit enemies far away if they move.Definitely use a Sand Hawk. It's a much better gun than the Florentine. Maya has a lot of slagging options anyway, so there isn't really any point in the slagging utility it has. Can I complete the mission and Save & Quit just before the turn-in?Read-only farming is the only rational way to do it. Of course it open to abuse and makes it easy to get multiples without resetting UVHM each time, but that is a decision for each individual. Consider letting two DOT effects stack before opening the valves. This will limit the leveling up of the mobs from the valves. Open the south (I think) valve as it has Spiderants. The spiderants are far far easier to deal with than the Rats. If one spiderant/rat is alive when you turn the valve, no more will spawn.lCodebreakerl 10 years ago #2.
