Bowfa without crystal armour
Spooned ungrateful bitch. At 99 range and eagle eye, bowfa is 22% more DPS than rcb/dias, both in god dhides. I'm not exactly sure what the tick loss is for 6:0 vs 7:0, so you'd need to factor that in. For reference, bowfa with crystal top/legs is 35% more DPS than bowfa in hides. There's a massive difference in accuracy though. In those gear setups the elite void has a maximum accuracy roll of 36,660 but in crystal the max roll is 56,303. So as an example this means the crystal armor has a 28.78% dps increase on Jad over the elite void.Bowfa without the crystal armour is okay but you definitely want the armour which even without the bow is comparable to armadyl, and the passive with the bow is insane. ... i would suggest keep doing gauntlet get your armour the blade is not too important but the bow without crystal armour is not amazing either full armadyl is about 35% worse ...

Crystal armour doesnt need a defensive value buffs, but it could act as a proselyte armour for ranged. Give it prayer bonuses comparable to Other BIS prayer. On top of that, it could have some small ranged str bonus, making it into a more offensive option compared to other tier 70 ranged armour ( like karils,armadyl, blessed dhide ). feasible, not very good though. Depends if you only going to get bowfa just for zulrah. If so then not really worth. Most ironman uses it because the only upkeep is crystal shards instead of ammo costs. It is definitely sufficiently good as I can get a <1 min kill with bowfa only rigour serp helm and thralls.The bow is pretty decent at venenatis, I did about 270 kills with it (wear crystal top+bottom). It is also very useful for killing the vents at the abyssal sire. Its really sick using it at bandos doing 6:0 and super easy to learn. Imo it wasnt worth using at zammy and I preferred just doing melee kills.Tbh, just do slayer until you have 93. At that point, magic becomes fine at zulrah and you can just use a Karils crossbow for tanz phase. Dwh grind is faster with BP, cox is minimal dps difference with BP. Only downside is inferno, I did infernal grind with and without bowfa and that is a shit ton harder without unfortunately.Dhcb is better for head phase, but the most bosses bofa is better. I haven't seen the comparison for olm, but bowfa is much better everywhere else. It even beats tbow at shamans, mystics, and vespula though it's difficult to not lose ticks there. Get the bow and armour set.Full Crystal Armor + Crystal Bow and ranged accessories has an effective Ranged Accuracy Bonus of 243. Full Arma + T bow on zulrah after T bow's passive has an effective accuracy of 250, meaning full Crystal + Cry Bow is basically equally as accurate as T bow. It felt pretty similar to me, i used to use blowpipe with dragon darts on the main, im using bowfa, rigour, crysta armor, anguish on the iron. Theres 0 risk of orbs healing since you can run and collect while maintaining dps. Feels like you're playing the intended mechanicsCrystal with bowfa blows it away and is a game changer. Crystal bow destroys rcb at bandos no matter the method. Upon dps calc, you are in fact right my good sir. 6:0 is the worst range method to use at bandos because of how many tics you lose in the cycle as it’s the longest cycle. But 7:0 / 9:0 are waaay sweatier. 6:0 is no tick loss and no inv lost to cannon base.The upgraded masori (f) set gives 102 stab, 92 slash, 115 crush, 132 magic and 106 range defence bonuses. The same 8 range strength and 3 prayer bonus. Masori is a significant upgrade for your t bow even without the (f) version. At places you don't use t bow like bandos, you will still use BofA and crystal. I'd recommend starting toa asap even ...Just wondering what is the lowest KC for this, if anyone knows. I’m at 1 enhanced, 3 armor seeds at 25 cg kc. The enhanced was a double drop with an armor seed. I think one guy got completed log in 6kc. Not 6 armour seeds tho. I met a guy who had full crystal armour and bofa at 56kc. I'm at 110 KC with 5 armor seeds and a pet!
Its usable sure and probably better than what you were using before. However without the crystal armour its really not the mini-tbow that you want it to be so I HIGHLY recommend going for the armour before using it. Especially since you wont have it corrupted either so every shot you use now is an extra shard you need later.Bowfa looks good recolored because it's one solid object with one color. If they re-color crystal it's guaranteed to look like shit. When Jagex does recolors they make it look like a shitty hue filter placed on top. Feel like crystal needs a redesign all together. I switch to chunkium when I'm in a skybase to give my arrows double reach to pick off bosses. Obamium is the best you can get.
