You can't even put in double pto/ppto, the max you can put in is 12 hours, so if someone is telling you otherwise it's not true. You only need to cover the number of hours you were supposed to work. Whoever tells you to use double, ask them to show you how to enter 16 since that would be double for a full shift. Seriously, ask them. The system only lets you enter 12.
