Fioptics remote volume not working
Oct 2, 2007 · A week ago my remote started to only work sporadically. I can get one or two buttons to work, then it stops working for about 10 seconds. Very annoying. The yellow light only comes on during those first two presses, then it stops. Also, the same problem exists whether I am controlling the tivo or functions on my TV (volume, power, etc.). REASONS. 1. If the Dish remote is running out of charge due to drained batteries. 2. If there is any debris stuck on the volume button of the Dish remote. 3. The volume key may be broken because of accidental physical damage. 4. There is a technical issue with the Dish receiver for receiving signals.
