For a while now, I've experienced .45 Nirvana with the Glock 21, but as I read about it's troubled history (LAPD suspending use of it due to failures with the ... My Glock 41 Gen 4 has probably been taken down 7 previous times and has less than 250 rounds through it. At the range it developed extraction problems and had previously had problems seizing up on a live round. But, before I can get to those problems the pistol has become difficult, almost impossible to take down.

So far, so good. I installed Trijicon suppressor sights, and have a perfect co-witness with 230 grain bullets at standard velocities. Plan to get more serious shooting it, after Christmas. Put 250 rnds of Winchester 230 grain ball through it with no hiccups, except a lot of smoke. Used a mixture of magazines, both the three new mags that came with the 41 and some factory mags purchased after buying my 21SF.Hearing problems can be temporary or permanent. At the end of the day I unload the firearm, squeeze the trigger to dryfire it, and load the magazine in before going to bed (chamber is now empty). When I wake up to carry I rack the slide to load a round and insert it in the holster.
