Can't same to remove the code. Unhook the battery for an hour and no change. Thinking about taking it to the dealer. 2007 GMC Acadia SLT. 120K Miles. Issue started as Stabilitrak and traction control off.... did not indicate reduced engine power. I looked up some common remedies that made sense. I cleaned the Throttle Body and MAF with approved and proper spray chemical. Upon doing so I cracked the Evap Control Module plastic tube.Possible that over time--- porosity in the spark plug tubes-- caused slight pooling of oil or coolant. when you removed the plug- the oil/coolant went into the cylinder. the smoke you saw- was the liquid being burned off.
