There are eight different undergraduate degree programs at JMU. The type of degree a student earns is determined by their major. Requirements for each degree program vary widely. Most courses used to satisfy degree requirements are embedded within requirements for the major with the exception of the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degrees.Students can search for General Education courses by requirement within each area from the General Education Program Planner . To accomplish this in MyMadison, please do the following: 1. Under "Search for Classes," scroll down to the “Additional Search Criteria” link, and click the arrow next to it to expand this section. 2. Take classes with Canvas at JMU.
