If you've only used one for 4 years, now use the other that works. If you get 4 years out of that one, you may never have to buy a replacement. Also, as you stated, the original one you used still works, just not 100 %. Pull the cover and blue rubber piece out of the key fob. Press the top part of the battery and pull the battery out using a small flat screwdriver. Slide the new battery in and press it to set it into place. Line up the blue rubber piece and the cover back to the battery.
