Maytag dryer stopped working mid cycle
the model number is XXXXX i used the dryer 3 days ago and it was working fine and this morning when i wanted to turn it on the only button that worked was the 'cycle end signal/ lock unlock' button and then that also stopped working and now the only thing that works is the inside light. i checked my breakers and everything is in order....Unscrew all the screws. Remove the top panel to get access to the start button. Remove the two wires from the start button. These should pop off easily. Connect the two prongs of your multimeter to the two terminals where the wires were previously connected on the start button. Set your multimeter to Ohms.
