The lights on mine would blink but it would not lock into 4 wheel drive. Yeah i'll just replace the switch in the dash see if that fixes it a new one would hurt to keep around anyways. I'll get under the truck and check see if there's power going to the transfer case. Check the fuse for your 4WD, it could be blown.Nov 17, 2023. #4. Update on "service 4wd". It was the transfer case range positioning sensor. For some reason it automatically engages parking brakes when parked. They are related and I told the service person this. But they said if I wanted to check the parking brake issue I would get charged the extra diagnosis.

Invalid data received from body control module - invalid data.
