Hi! I’m a recent alumna from a sorority at UT. Yes, this does happen. About 3 sororities do that. About 6 sororities are heavily suspected of doing zip code cutting. BUT please don’t let that discourage you. There are many houses that don’t participate in that bullshit and really give every girl a chance.There really aren't bad sororities at UT. Pretty much any here would be top tier at most schools.
